Our beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, grandson, friend, Jeremy arrived like a blazing meteor on May 6, 1990, at Holy Cross Hospital in Nogales, AZ. He crashed into our lives and blinded us with his brilliance, talents, passion, and his fervent love. He bounced arond this world, going as fast as he could, touching as many lives as he was supposed to. On March 21, 2009, at the age of 18 short years, he exited this world. His work was done. Jeremy was an exceptional athlete and amazing artist and musician, gave his all tho whatever endeeavor he pursued. Some called him a "Mama's Boy" , he answered "yea, I am but i get anything I want".And He did because he deserved everything he wanted. Jeremy taught himself to play guitar at age 10. with a borrowed guitar he learned to play by ear and to use guitar tabs. he would stay in his room until he knew a whole song. Mom and
dad palced bets several times to see if he could learn a dificult song. Mom once won a $10 bet from Dad when he chose a difficult song and said he couldnt leran that one. Mom called him and whne they they arrived 30 minutes later he played the song for us. He loved metal music although he dabbled in the "Rents" kind of music too. Jeremy was a self taught tattoo artist. He started drawing on the walls as soon as he could hold a crayon, therefore Mom gave him a whole wall by his room to do what he wanted to and saved the rest of the walls in the house. The wall still stands. throughout the years he added, repainted, changed his wall and we will never paint over it. at age 16 he wanted a tattoo. both mom and dad told himhe could have a tattoo at age 18 . he would have to accomplish something in order to get one. he had always wanted wings on his ankles to symbolize his love of running. He talked mom into lettinghim have the tatto at age 16. I dont know how it happened but i even paid for it. i never knew how things happened with him they jsut did andi still dont know. all he had to do was flash a grin and start hugging on me and telling me howmuchhe loved me and how i was the best mom in the world and he could get anything form me. my heart always melted and apparently so did my brain and common sense. we hid the tattoo form dad fora couple of days. dad wasnt mad, he was amused . amused at how when jeremy set his mind to anything, we would comply. yes, he always got what he wanted. he began his tattoo career when he left to college. to him , it was a means of an income . to use, we cherish the legacy of body art he has left. .. more to come. my eyes cant focus from the tears.
